TANDO ADAM:

Seven goats belonging to a laborer were killed after the boundary wall of a gas company collapsed near Tando Adam.

The incident occurred near the Gul Gajjan graveyard. Naro Kohli, a resident of village Sacho Sand near Tando Adam, was grazing his goats when the wall of the gas company came down due to rain. The animals were buried under the debris and died on the spot.

Following the incident, landlord Muhammad Khan Sand along with the affected labourer Naro Kohli reached Tando Adam Press Club and staged a protest.

They alleged that the gas company administration had constructed the boundary wall with substandard material, which collapsed due to rain and caused heavy financial loss to the poor laborer.

Naro Kohli said the death of his seven goats has severely affected his livelihood. He added that the remaining portion of the wall is still in a dangerous condition and could cause further accidents at any time.

The affected person has demanded that the relevant authorities take immediate notice of the incident, ensure compensation from the gas company for the loss incurred, and get the dangerous wall repaired or rebuilt to prevent any further loss of life or property in the future.
