Flood situation, relief efforts reviewed

ISLAMABAD:

The Emergency Response Committee (ERC) on Thursday held its seventh session at the NDMA headquarters to review the flood situation, rescue operations, relief efforts and preparedness measures across Pakistan.

According to officials, the committee reviewed the overall monsoon situation, including recent incidents, human casualties, infrastructure damage, rescue activities, relief operations and rehabilitation efforts in affected areas.

The committee assessed response measures taken by federal ministries, provincial governments and district administrations and acknowledged the efforts of rescue agencies.
