.

Sindh has inaugurated a state-of-the-art Agriculture Research Laboratory in Tandojam to provide free diagnostic services to farmers and strengthen the province's fight against crop diseases, climate challenges and declining agricultural productivity.
Sindh Agriculture Minister Sardar Muhammad Bakhsh Mahar, who inaugurated the facility, said the laboratory is equipped to conduct up to 90 diagnostic tests simultaneously, enabling faster identification of crop diseases and viruses.
He said advanced molecular testing technology would allow diseases to be detected within two hours, helping farmers take timely measures to protect their crops. "The facility will modernise agricultural research, strengthen the agricultural economy and help protect crops from the impacts of climate change," Mahar said.
