Couple stabbed to death

A young married couple was allegedly stabbed to death over a love marriage in Lalkay village, police said on Monday.

Police said Muhammad Afzal and his wife, Samra, both residents of Sheikhupura, had married of their own choice a few months ago despite family opposition. The couple had travelled to Samra's native village to offer prayers at her mother's grave when they were allegedly attacked by her brother Shahid Abbas.
