Digital marketplace offers Gul Plaza traders a fresh start

KARACHI:

Hundreds of traders who lost their livelihoods in the devastating Gul Plaza fire are being offered a second chance through a free digital marketplace, allowing them to rebuild their businesses online without any financial burden.

The platform, titled "Gul Plaza Bazaar", has been launched by a private IT company to help traders affected by the fire resume business by creating online stores and selling their products to customers across Pakistan.

Under the initiative, traders are required to register on the platform, after which they are provided with a per-sonalised online storefront.
