IHC halts ANF recruitment drive
The Islamabad High Court has temporarily restrained the Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) from making fresh recruitments.
The court suspended implementation of the recruitment advertisement until a final decision in the case, directing that no action be taken on the advertisement until disposal of the main petition.
Justice Muhammad Azam Khan heard a miscellaneous application filed by ANF Constable Muhammad Shafiq Khan.
The court allowed the application seeking suspension of the recruitment process and disposed of it, while fixing Aug 22 for hearing the main petition.
The petition requested the court to stop the alleged illegal induction of officers on deputation from other departments.
