Noah Kahan jokes Congress should make concertgoers wear diapers after fans keep peeing at his shows

Noah Kahan has once again pleaded with concertgoers to stop treating his gigs like bathrooms, this time joking that Congress should make diapers mandatory after another incident involving fans urinating on the floor during one of his concerts.

During his performance at Nationals Park in Washington, D.C., Kahan delivered the message as part of his recurring comedy "phone call" segment, pretending to ring the U.S. Congress about the growing problem.

"Helloooo... Congress? Oh, people have been pissing all over the floor at my shows as well?" Kahan joked. "You guys are ordering by act of Congress that everyone has to wear diapers before they get in, is that what we've come to? Alright, you heard Congress: f---ing put some diapers on next time."

The tongue-in-cheek remark comes after a string of bizarre incidents at Kahan's concerts. Earlier this month, the singer urged fans to "please dear God just go to the bathroom" after reports of someone defecating on the floor at one of his shows. More recently, another attendee allegedly urinated in the seating area during a concert at New York's Citi Field, with fellow fans claiming personal belongings were soaked in urine.

The issue has become part of a wider conversation about extreme concert behaviour. Olivia Rodrigo recently revealed she has noticed audience members wearing adult diapers so they do not lose their place near the stage, while police are investigating reports that a fan urinated on a family during a Morgan Wallen concert.

Kahan's latest comments were clearly made in jest, but they underscore a growing frustration among artists and fans over concert etiquette. His mock appeal to lawmakers quickly went viral on social media, with many applauding the singer's humour while agreeing that the increasingly unsanitary behaviour has gone too far.
