Comedian Ali Gul Pir, who recently welcomed a baby with his wife, shared a sarcastic video highlighting the unsolicited warnings and backhanded comments new parents often receive. He emphasised that society needed to learn to let parents experience the joyful milestone of parenthood without unnecessary negativity.

In the clip, the comedian pointed out that people continue making discouraging remarks no matter how old their child gets, never allowing parents to simply enjoy the experience.

Pir also addressed the comments parents receive about their pets after having children, such as, "You guys should get rid of your pets now that the baby has come." The comedian responded to such advice, saying, "Pets are not placeholders that you get rid of once you have kids. Studies actually show that children who grow up with pets have fewer allergies and are more compassionate."

Pir announced the birth of his child with his wife Dr Azeemah Nakhoda on June 21, sharing his excitement and gratitude at welcoming what he described as a true blessing on Father's Day.
