Two accused get life term in murder case

CHINIOT:

Two accused have been sentenced to life imprisonment in a murder case after an effective investigation by Chiniot Police.

District and Sessions Judge Muhammad Naeem Sheikh announced the verdict in a case registered at City Police Station, convicting Shehzad and Mubashir.

The court also imposed a fine of Rs500,000 each. The accused were booked in FIR No. 2225/24 under sections 302, 404, 148, 149, 109 and 411 of the Pakistan Penal Code.

District Police Officer Dr Naveed Atif said police are focusing on quality investigations and presenting strong evidence in courts to ensure justice for victims and punishment for offenders.
