'Dandadan' Season 3 January 2027 release date post deleted after accidental reveal

Dandadan Season 3 briefly appeared to receive a release date after a streaming platform published, and later removed, a social media post stating the anime would return in January 2027.

The post was shared by French streaming service Animation Digital Network (ADN) before being deleted, prompting speculation among fans that the platform had accidentally revealed the premiere window for the upcoming season.

According to screenshots circulated online before the post was removed, ADN ended a message celebrating a milestone for the anime with the line, "Can't wait for January for DAN DA DAN S3."

The original post marked one year since Jiji's fight with Okarun in Dandadan Season 2 and read: "Okarun VS Jiji transformed, it's already been 1 YEAR since the episode aired!" However, it was the closing sentence that attracted widespread attention among fans.

ADN later issued a public apology, stating that the information had been published in error.

"Hello everyone, In a tweet we posted yesterday, it was stated that Season 3 of Dandadan would be released in January 2027. This was an oversight on our part because we don't have an official date for Season 3 yet! We apologize for this incorrect information and thank you for your daily support."

The statement has left fans uncertain about whether the January 2027 date was an accidental leak or simply an internal mistake.

Neither Science SARU, the animation studio behind the series, nor the official Dandadan social media accounts have commented on the deleted post.

A 2027 release window for Season 3 has already been confirmed following its announcement at Jump Festa, although no specific month has been officially revealed.

The reported January timeframe has been viewed by some fans as plausible, given the current production schedule and the previously announced 2027 launch window. However, others have noted that, without confirmation from the production team, the date remains unverified.
