Flash floods wreak havoc in Rawat
.

Torrential rain triggered severe flooding in the Rawat area, where a rain-fed stream near Daducha Dam overflowed into nearby settlements, inundating large parts of Barwala and Khanpur and causing widespread damage to homes and infrastructure.
According to local residents, floodwater entered houses and a mosque after the stream burst its banks following heavy rainfall. Several sections of the main road were also submerged, disrupting traffic and leaving many residents stranded.
Residents said the strong flood currents caused a number of houses to collapse, forcing affected families to abandon their homes and move to safer locations. They described the situation in villages near Daducha Dam as critical.
