Fare dispute sparks street altercation

RAWALPINDI:

A foreign woman was allegedly involved in a physical altercation with a taxi driver over a fare dispute near Pindora Bazaar on Syedpur Road, within the jurisdiction of New Town Police Station, prompting passers-by and local residents to intervene and defuse the situation.

A video of the incident, which has since circulated widely on social media, appears to show the woman confronting the driver in the middle of the road. The footage allegedly shows the driver lying on the ground while the woman holds him by his clothing and arm. She also appears to attempt to pin him down by placing her knee on his chest and abdomen.
