Quetta woman gives birth to rare quintuplets

A rare and remarkable childbirth at a hospital in Quetta has brought joy to a local family after a woman successfully delivered quintuplets, hospital officials confirmed on Tuesday.

According to the hospital administration, the mother gave birth to five babies in a single delivery, three girls and two boys. Doctors said the complex delivery was carried out successfully, and both the mother and all five newborns are in stable condition.

Medical officials stated that the mother and her babies have been shifted to the hospital's special care unit, where they are under continuous observation and receiving appropriate medical attention as a precautionary measure.

The family, which already had three children, has now grown to eight children following the rare multiple birth. Relatives and well-wishers expressed happiness over the safe delivery and wished the mother and newborns good health.

Hospital authorities described the birth as an uncommon medical event, noting that a dedicated team of obstetricians, pediatricians, nurses, and support staff managed the delivery and is closely monitoring the health of the mother and infants.
