Inauguration: Conference on afghan transition
Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar will open the international conference on “Transition in Afghanistan: Post-Exit Scenarios” being held in Islamabad from October 5-6, said an IPRI press release.
It is being organized by the Islamabad Policy Research Institute in collaboration with the Hanns Seidel Foundation.
The USA will discuss the situation in Afghanistan with respect to governance, economic development, reconciliation with the Taliban, re-emergence of the Northern Alliance, regional struggle for supremacy, post-exit role of the US and Pak-Afghan relations.
