Chloe Fineman joins Netflix’s 'Myron Bolitar' series after leaving Saturday Night Live

Chloe Fineman lands her first major post-SNL role alongside Jabari Banks and Jamie McShane in Netflix’s Myron Bolitar

Former Saturday Night Live star Chloe Fineman has secured her first major television role following her exit from the long-running sketch comedy series.

The actress and comedian has joined Netflix’s upcoming drama series Myron Bolitar as a series regular.

Fineman is among several new cast additions announced for the Netflix adaptation, joining Jabari Banks (Bel-Air) and Jamie McShane (Wednesday, Task) in key roles. Actor Ben McKenzie (Gotham) will also appear in a recurring guest role.

The upcoming Myron Bolitar Netflix series is based on author Harlan Coben’s popular book series, which features 12 novels centred on the character. The show follows Myron Bolitar, played by Colin Woodell, a former basketball player whose NBA dreams end after an injury. He later becomes a sports agent who uses his intelligence, confidence and determination to navigate the competitive world of professional sports.

The series will also star KJ Apa and Diane Guerrero, who were previously announced as leads. Fineman will portray Parker Quinn, a respected sports reporter known for her dedication and passion for athletics.

Banks will play Dwayne Richmond, a rising tennis star and top client at MB Sports, while McShane will portray Detective Ray Dimonte, an experienced NYPD homicide detective. McKenzie’s character, Gavin Pierce, is a powerful sports agent with a complicated history with Myron.

Myron Bolitar is being developed by David E. Kelley and Kyle Long, who serve as writers, showrunners and executive producers. The production team also includes Matthew Tinker, Greg Yaitanes and other executive producers from David E. Kelley Productions and Final Twist Productions.

The Netflix series is expected to bring Harlan Coben’s bestselling thriller world to a wider audience with a mix of sports drama, mystery and crime elements.
