Academics Relations: Exchange student returns to Gilgit
A Karakoram International University (KIU) student who went to Bangladesh as part of a 19-member student delegation under an exchange program returned to Gilgit on Monday.
Islamuddin, a BBA student at KIU, was selected to take part in the Bangladesh Student Exchange Programme. “The students were selected by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) and the foreign office,” KIU Spokesperson Shahid Shigri said Monday.
The students were led by Karachi University Institute of Pakistan studies director and HEC Academics Assistant Director Dr Rabia Jehanzeb.
During the two-week programme, the students were given a tour of Dhaka University, Chittagong University and Jehangir Nagar University.
