HYDERABAD:

A woman and her daughter were killed while two women were injured as a small sized drone struck their home, a thatched hut, in a village in the riverine area of Raunti in Ghotki district on Sunday.

Though the police denied that it was their operated drone the affected family blamed the police, specifically accusing SHO Raunti police station Abdul Jabbar Mahar.

"I and my family members are innocent," claimed Molvi Chalo Shar, whose house and family members sustained fatal damages. "None of us are wanted in any police case." According to Movli, the SHO called on his cell phone days before the incident and asked for his assistance in some matter. He said he replied in affirmative.

Soomri Shar and her daughter Rehana Shar were killed in the incident and Lateefan and Shabana sustained injuries.

SSP Muhammad Anwar Khaitran denied while talking to the media that any police operation is underway in the area in question.

The police, on their part, have blamed the wanted bandits Rano Shar and Bakhat Ali Shar for the incidents. According to them, the dacoits were checking their newly acquired drone when that incident happened.
