Bugti expands women's enterprise drive
Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti has announced plans to significantly broaden the Balochistan Women Entrepreneurship Development Program following the successful completion of its first phase by 500 women across the province.
In a message shared on X, the Chief Minister described the program as a turning point for women's participation in the provincial economy. He emphasized that empowering women through entrepreneurship, digital skills, and self-employment opportunities remains one of the top priorities of his government.
The first phase of the program provided comprehensive training in key areas including business planning, marketing, entrepreneurship, and digital tools.
These skills, Bugti noted, will enable participants to launch their own ventures, attain financial independence, and play a meaningful role in Balochistan's economic growth.
