Property grab plot ends in murder

RAWALPINDI:

Police identified the sack-bound body recovered from Nullah Leh in the limits of City Police Station a few days ago and also uncovered the suspected motive behind the murder.

According to police sources, the deceased has been identified as Pir Abbas Raza, the custodian of a shrine located within the limits of the City police limits. Preliminary investigations suggest that Raza was allegedly murdered as part of a plot to seize his property.

Police believe the suspects first killed Raza with the intention of taking possession of his house before placing his body in a sack and dumping it into Nullah Leh.
