Football: Platini approves Ukraine venues

KIEV: Uefa President Michel Platini has declared that Ukraine’s four host cities will be ready for Euro 2012. Platini made the announcement after inspecting Ukraine’s facilities, including Kiev’s refurbished Olympic Stadium, the venue for the competition’s final. “At the next Uefa meeting I will definitely tell my colleagues that Ukraine is ready,” said Platini.
