Swift, Kelce step back into the spotlight

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce made their first public appearance since their wedding by attending the wedding of NFL wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster and Laura Kruk, drawing widespread attention as photographs of the couple emerged online.

The pair were photographed at the ceremony last week, with Swift wearing a pink floral gown and Kelce dressed in a black suit. The wedding, attended by several current and former Kansas City Chiefs players and their families, was also covered by Vogue Weddings.

Group photographs released from the event showed Swift posing with the bride, while Kelce stood alongside her. The images quickly attracted attention on social media, where fans focused on the singer's outfit as well as her wedding jewellery, which was seen publicly for the first time.

The ceremony brought together several high-profile figures connected to the NFL, including Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes and his wife Brittany Mahomes, who also appeared in the official wedding photographs.

The appearance marked Swift and Kelce's first public outing since reports that they married in New York earlier this month. The couple had largely remained out of the public eye in the days following the ceremony.

While online discussion centred on Swift's fashion and jewellery, the event itself celebrated the marriage of Smith-Schuster and Kruk. In remarks published by Vogue Weddings, the NFL receiver recalled first meeting his future wife in January 2023 and said he knew immediately she was special, while Kruk described him as her "best friend".

The newly released photographs ended days of speculation over when the couple would next be seen together, with their appearance at the wedding providing fans with the first glimpse of the pair since their reported nuptials.
