Netflix has released the official trailer for season 3 of My Life With the Walter Boys, offering a first look at the next chapter in Jackie Howard's complicated love life while introducing a potential new romantic interest.
Al 10 episodes of the new season will premiere on Netflix on August 6, continuing the story after the dramatic events of the season two finale.
The trailer suggests the long-running love triangle between Jackie Howard, played by Nikki Rodriguez, and brothers Alex and Cole Walter may become even more complicated.
Grace Wagner, portrayed by Ellie O'Brien, asks Jackie where things stand with the two brothers after Alex previously overheard Jackie admitting her feelings for Cole.
Season 3 also follows the aftermath of George Walter's health scare. The family patriarch, played by Marc Blucas, returns home to recover after collapsing, while the Walter family continues to adjust to recent events.
“I think this is something that we’re all going to be dealing with for a while,” Katherine Walter, played by Sarah Rafferty, tells her family in the trailer.
Another development comes with the arrival of Eliot, played by Naveen Paddock, who accompanies Jackie's Uncle Richard back to the Walter ranch in Silver Falls, Colorado.
Nicknamed “Mr. Harvard” by Cole, Eliot appears to remind Jackie of her former life, creating fresh uncertainty around her future relationships.
The trailer also teases Cole's growing interest in race car driving, a decision that worries Katherine. When Alex asks whether she supports the idea, she replies, “No, but we also said that you couldn’t bronc ride and look how that turned out.”
Based on Ali Novak's novel, My Life With the Walter Boys is created by showrunner Melanie Halsall and produced by Sony Pictures Television, International Production and iGeneration Studios.
The series has already been renewed for a fourth season ahead of season 3's release.
