YouTuber remanded in judicial custody

LAHORE :

 A judicial magistrate on Tuesday sent a YouTuber in judicial remand for 14 days in a blasphemy case.

Judicial Magistrate Naeem Watto heard the case. The suspect, Rehan Tariq, was produced in court under strict security upon completion of his six-day physical remand.

During the hearing, the court observed that religious matters should not be discussed without proper knowledge.

The investigating officer stated that further physical remand was not required, following which the court ordered that he should be sent to jail on judicial remand.
