Gang pulls off one of biggest heists of the year

KARACHI:

Armed robbers looted valuables worth millions of rupees from a bungalow in Gadap Town after holding the family hostage in one of the biggest house robberies of the year in the metropolis, police said on Monday.

According to officials, at least eight armed suspects sneaked into the bungalow situated in Kirpalani Villas, Ramzan Lasi Goth, on the night between Sunday and Monday by using a rear access route. After overpowering the watchman, they scaled a wall to gain entry into the bungalow.

The suspects held all family members hostage at gunpoint, subjected them to violence, and forced their way into several rooms.
