Love Island USA season eight contestant Corbin Mims has responded to the viral memes comparing him to artificial intelligence, saying he found the online reactions entertaining.

The luxury travel concierge became a fan favourite during his time on the reality dating show because of his unique personality, memorable one-liners and calm mannerisms. After leaving the villa with partner Parmida Keshani, viewers began referring to him as “CorbinGPT,” joking that his behaviour resembled an AI system.

In an interview with E! News, Mims said he was surprised by the reaction because he was simply being himself while filming the show. He explained that contestants do not have access to public reactions during their time in the villa, making it unusual to see how viewers interpret their actions after leaving.

Mims said he found the humour behind the memes enjoyable, especially jokes about his sleeping habits. Fans compared his still sleeping position to a computer rebooting or charging, which became one of the most shared jokes about him online.

The contestant revealed that other Islanders noticed his unique presence from the beginning, with some calling him “AI” after he entered the villa as a bombshell. According to Mims, fellow contestants joked about his slow movements and serious expressions, which later became part of his online identity.

Beyond the memes, Mims said his relationship with Parmida Keshani helped him make important decisions during the competition. He credited her advice during difficult moments, including his decision to address issues involving fellow contestant Sincere Rhea.

Following his Love Island USA exit, Corbin Mims continues to receive attention from fans for his unusual personality and viral moments from season eight.
