Foreign funding case adjourned until Sept 7

LAHORE:

Proceedings in the foreign funding case against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founding chairman Imran Khan and other accused moved a step forward on Thursday after the prosecution informed the Islamabad Banking Court that scrutiny of the charge sheet had been completed, prompting the court to adjourn the matter until September 7.

The case came up before Banking Court Judge Abdul Ghafoor Kakar, where Special Prosecutor Wasiq Malik told the court that the Registrar's Office had completed scrutiny of the charge sheet filed in the case, clearing the way for the proceedings to advance.
