Jonas Brothers revive 2008 'Burning Up Tour' with three-night Madison Square Garden run

Concerts were expanded to three nights after overwhelming demand, capping off a milestone week for the band

The Jonas Brothers have announced The Burning Up Tour All Over Again, a special three-night event at Madison Square Garden in New York, scheduled to take place from August 20 to 22.

The concerts revisit the band's iconic Burning Up Tour, which originally supported their third studio album, A Little Bit Longer, released in 2008. The trio shared the announcement on Instagram alongside ticket details.

"The Burning Up Tour changed our lives and we can't wait to relive it with all of you in a place that means so much to us," they wrote.

Originally planned as a two-night event, the celebration was expanded to three nights after overwhelming fan demand.

The announcement comes as the band celebrates another milestone week. Speaking on their podcast, the brothers revealed that the idea stemmed from reminiscing about some of their favourite live performances.

"We were sitting around thinking about what were some of our favourite shows we've ever played, and Madison Square Garden came up a few times. Big, big nights," they said.

The brothers added: "So we thought, what can we do to cap off the most epic week for us? We've got the Camp Rock 3 premiere, which we are executive producing and making a cameo in, and then we've got the Disney Legends induction. We're going to cap all this off by going back to Madison Square Garden."

The Jonas Brothers reunited in 2019 after a six-year hiatus, during which Kevin, Joe and Nick pursued solo projects. Their comeback single, Sucker, topped charts worldwide and ushered in a new chapter for the band.

Fans quickly filled the comments section with excitement, celebrating the return of one of the group's most beloved tours. Many joked that, unlike in 2008, they can finally afford to buy tickets.
