PTI undecided on JCP meeting

ISLAMABAD:

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has yet to decide whether it will attend the upcoming meeting of the Judicial Commission of Pakistan (JCP) convened to consider the nominations of 23 judges for the high courts, sources said on Wednesday.

According to the sources, the party is expected to decide within the next two days whether to participate in or boycott the commission's meeting. They said PTI remains divided over the issue of boycotting the proceedings.

Meanwhile, the JCP's interview committee is scheduled to begin interviews of the shortlisted candidates on July 13, which will continue until July 17.
