Decision to revive Bahawalpur Airport hailed

BAHAWALPUR:

Member of the Punjab Assembly Sadia Bilal has expressed gratitude to former premier Nawaz Sharif, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif for issuing directives to restore operations at Bahawalpur Airport. She stated that the decision had been taken because of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif's special interest.

Resumption of flights at the airport was a long-standing demand of the people of South Punjab, particularly Bahawalpur. She added that the restoration of airport operations would not only improve air travel facilities but also promote trade and tourism.
