ATEEZ's Yunho confirms breakup with longtime non-celebrity girlfriend

The singer and his girlfriend reportedly separated around three months ago after being together for several years

ATEEZ member Yunho has reportedly ended his relationship with his longtime non-celebrity girlfriend, with his management agency confirming the breakup following reports in South Korean media.

According MHN Sports, the singer and his girlfriend separated around three months ago after being together for several years.

The report stated that the pair first met while they were at school and remained close friends before their relationship became romantic.

Following the publication of the report, Yunho's agency released an official statement confirming that the relationship had ended.

The agency said, "After personally checking with Yunho over the phone, he said that he never met or even spoke to [his ex] over the phone after ending their relationship. It's true that their relationship ended completely at that time."

The statement marks the first official confirmation regarding Yunho's personal relationship, despite the K-pop star previously being the subject of dating rumours. No additional details about the reasons for the breakup were disclosed, and the identity of his former partner has not been made public.

The reports also stated that the separation had been emotionally difficult for the singer, although neither Yunho nor his agency elaborated further on his personal circumstances.

The news comes as ATEEZ continues promotions for its latest release, BAD. The accompanying music video features actress Chase Infiniti, who is known for her film debut in One Battle After Another alongside Leonardo DiCaprio.

Yunho debuted with ATEEZ in 2018 and has since built a career spanning music, television and acting. In addition to his work with the group, he appeared in the 2020 K-drama Imitation and has hosted several music and entertainment programmes.
