One lucky guest walked away from Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's wedding with more than just memories after catching the bride's bouquet during the couple's star-studded reception at New York City's Madison Square Garden.

The bouquet was caught by Ashley Smith, the sister of Kansas City Chiefs offensive lineman Trey Smith, one of Kelce's longtime teammates. Ashley later shared photos on Instagram showing off the pink-and-white floral arrangement, writing, "Cheers to forever, T&T," and expressing hope that catching the bouquet would bring her "a lifetime of love, luck and laughter."

According to People, the bouquet featured sweet peas and Queen Anne's lace. The flowers carry symbolic meanings, with sweet peas representing beauty, joy and gratitude, while Queen Anne's lace is often associated with sanctuary and protection.

Ashley attended the wedding alongside her brother, who has played with Kelce on the Chiefs since being drafted in 2021. She also shared a keepsake from the celebration: an embroidered cocktail napkin featuring the lyric, "So it's gonna be forever," from Swift's 2014 hit Blank Space.

Ashley, who works in player engagement for the NFL, said she hoped the joyful moment would inspire others. In her post, she also paid tribute to her late mother, Dorsetta Smith, saying she wished she could have shared the special day with her.

Swift and Kelce married on 3 July in front of around 1,000 guests. The ceremony was officiated by Adam Sandler, while Swift's brother Austin served as her "Man of Honour" and Kelce's brother Jason was his Best Man. The reception also featured performances from music legends Paul McCartney and Stevie Nicks.

Although the newlyweds have kept much of the celebration private, moments such as the bouquet toss have continued to emerge through guests' social media posts, giving fans a glimpse inside one of the year's most talked-about celebrity weddings.
