Six sanitary workers injured in Muzaffargarh

MUZAFFARGARH:

At least six sanitation workers were injured when a speeding car collided with a loader rickshaw operating under the Punjab government's Suthra Punjab cleanliness programme near Godar Bypass on Dera Ghazi Khan Road on Saturday.

Rescue sources said the accident occurred when the car attempted to overtake a pickup vehicle and rammed into the loader rickshaw and rickshaw overturn onto the workers.

Rescue teams reached the scene promptly, provided first aid to the injured and shifted them to Indus hospital for medical treatment.
