Attendee, Adam Aron, reveals magical details from Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce wedding

The executive described an elegant ceremony, emotional vows and a lavish reception before the post vanished

AMC Entertainment chief executive Adam Aron briefly offered fans a rare glimpse inside Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's wedding celebrations before deleting a lengthy social media post describing the event.

Aron, whose company partnered with Swift to distribute Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour concert film in cinemas worldwide in 2023, was among the guests invited to the couple's wedding at Madison Square Garden in New York City on July 3. After the ceremony, he published a detailed account of the day on X before the post was later removed.

In his now deleted message, Aron reflected on his connection with Swift through AMC and said it had been "such a privilege to be there." He wrote that, having been in Swift's orbit since the release of Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour film and with AMC headquartered in Kansas City, he believed "true romance was at hand" long before the couple exchanged vows.

According to Aron, guests arriving inside Madison Square Garden were greeted by a dramatic transformation of the venue. He said the floors, walls and ceilings had all been draped in peach and white fabric, while enlarged photographs of Swift and Kelce from childhood through their teenage years lined the entrance.

He described a section of the arena that had been completely reimagined into what resembled a countryside garden rather than a sporting venue. Green and white decorations, abundant flowers and artificial trees surrounded a small ceremony space with approximately 75 chairs arranged across around 15 rows. Although reports suggested around 1,000 people attended the celebrations, Aron said the ceremony itself felt remarkably intimate.

The executive recalled soft romantic music welcoming guests before violins and cello accompanied the wedding party. He described Kelce wearing a white tuxedo while Swift entered in what he called a "stunning white wedding dress with a long veiled train."

Aron praised the unnamed officiant, who has been confirmed as Adam Sandler, writing that the ceremony combined humour, warmth and eloquence. He said both Swift and Kelce delivered lengthy personal vows reflecting on how they met, why they wanted to spend their lives together and how their marriage united the Swift and Kelce families.

"Their profound love" stood out most to him, Aron wrote, adding that both were clearly devoted to one another despite already standing at the pinnacle of their respective careers. He also described the traditional exchange of rings, the declaration of husband and wife and the couple's first kiss following the ceremony.

According to the post, the celebrations continued with a lavish reception inspired by a "Secret Garden" theme. Aron described towering illuminated trees, extensive floral displays, premium food and drinks, an A list guest list and live music throughout the evening.

He also praised Swift and Kelce for their reported charitable giving, writing that while the wedding was undoubtedly expensive, the couple donated $26m over the same weekend to charities supporting people in need. Reports of those donations had already emerged from multiple outlets covering the wedding.

Although Aron later deleted his post, screenshots quickly circulated across social media, giving fans one of the most detailed first hand descriptions of the highly private ceremony. Neither Swift nor Kelce has publicly commented on Aron's account.
