Lady healthworkers stagesit-in in Hyderabad

Hundreds of women employees staged a protest sit-in outside Hyderabad Press Club on Friday against the Sindh government's reported plan to hand over the Lady Health Workers Programme to the People's Primary Healthcare Initiative or private NGOs, and against cuts to the program's budget. The demonstration was held on the call of the All Sindh Lady Health Workers.
