BADIN:

In a heart-wrenching incident on the Tando Ghulam Ali Road, a helpless buffalo has become the target of what appears to be a personal vendetta - with its legs brutally broken in an act of cruelty that has sparked outrage among local communities.

The buffalo's owner, Lalji Thakur, a hardworking labourer, has accused two men - Raju Thakur and Bhooro Thakur - of subjecting his innocent animal to a merciless assault with sticks, leaving it with fractured legs and in severe pain.

"I may have personal differences with someone, but making a voiceless animal the target of that enmity is utterly inhumane," an anguished Lalji Thakur told reporters. "What fault did this innocent creature commit that she had to pay for our disputes?"

The grieving owner has made a fervent appeal to the SSP Badin and the SHO of Tando Ghulam Ali police station, demanding an immediate, transparent, and impartial investigation into the matter. He has urged that if the allegations are proven true, stringent legal action should be taken against the nominated suspects to ensure justice for his family and to serve as a deterrent for those who inflict cruelty on animals.

Local community members have also condemned the incident, calling for strict enforcement of animal cruelty laws. They have stressed that such acts of violence against voiceless creatures are a blot on any civilized society and must be dealt with severely.
