Ivan Beerkus and Angela Nikolau were released on supervised release following their appearance in Manhattan Criminal Court. Video recorded outside the courthouse showed the pair holding hands before sharing a kiss, drawing further public attention after their dramatic rooftop proposal.

The climbers were arrested after scaling the Empire State Building's 1,454-foot spire on July 1. During the climb, they unfurled a banner carrying a peace message before Beerkus proposed to Nikolau near the top of the landmark. The stunt prompted a significant emergency response as New York Police Department officers climbed the structure to safely detain the pair.
