The five-day International Judicial Workshop and Training Programme on "Judicial Services for Green and Low-Carbon Transition and Development" was held in Hangzhou and organised by the Supreme People's Court of China.

It brought together judges and judicial experts from different jurisdictions to exchange knowledge and best practices on climate litigation and judicial responses to environmental challenges. At the workshop, Justice Malik delivered a keynote address and gave a presentation on climate litigation in Pakistan.

Her presentation focused on the country's developing climate jurisprudence, rights-based approaches to climate governance, institutional accountability and emerging trends in climate adjudication.
