Seven of family suffer food poisoning

Seven members of a family were hospitalised due to food poisoning in the Chitti Masjid area.
According to Rescue 1122 officials, the family had co sumed leftover food late at night. Shortly afterwards, they developed severe vomiting and fell ill.
Two rescue ambulances were dispatched to the scene after an emergency call was received. Rescue teams rushed to the home, provided first aid and shifted the seven patients to the Kahror Pakks THQ Hospital.
Allah Bakhsh, 45, Ansar Bibi, 42, Shahzad, 40, Mumtaz Mai, 40, Sughran, 35, Akmal, 10, and Rubina Bibi, 15, were hospitalised. District Emergency officer Shabab Aslam advised the public to avoid consuming stale or improperly stored food.
