Man arrested for allegedly beating wife to death

A man has been arrested for allegedly beating his wife to death following a domestic dispute in Faisalabad's Buchiana area, police said.

The incident occurred in Chak No. 644-GB, within the jurisdiction of Lundianwala Police Station, where 30-year-old Nida, a mother of four, was allegedly killed by her husband, Shahbaz.

Police registered a murder case against the suspect on the complaint of the victim's father, Muhammad Naseem, and arrested him shortly after the incident.

An investigation is underway to determine the circumstances surrounding the killing.
