Separate shootings claim two lives

Two men were shot dead in separate incidents in the Gujar Khan and Kahuta areas of Rawalpindi district, police said.
The first incident occurred in Gujar Khan, where a young man was allegedly killed over a minor dispute. Complainant Farukh Sarfraz told the police that he was at his residence when several men took his brother, Muhammad Ali, with them.
Later, the complainant received a WhatsApp message from the victim, stating that he had been taken to the fields where the suspects were assaulting him.
Upon reaching the location, he saw the suspects shot the victim, critically injuring him, while the suspects fled the scene. Ali was rushed to hospital but succumbed to his injuries.
In a separate incident in Kahuta, a shopkeeper was allegedly shot dead after reportedly confronting a suspect over an attempted burglary at his home.
