ICG hosts skill-based summer learning fiesta

ISLAMABAD:

Islamabad College for Girls (ICG), F-6/2, operating under the Federal Directorate of Education (FDE), has launched its two-week Summer Fiesta 2026, providing students with an opportunity to develop technological, creative and vocational skills through a diverse range of courses and hands-on workshops.

The initiative features a series of colourful activities and interactive learning experiences aimed at fostering creativity, innovation and practical skills among students beyond the traditional classroom environment.

Addressing the opening ceremony, Secretary, Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training, Nadeem Mehboob, said the Summer Fiesta offered students a valuable platform to explore new interests and enhance their abilities through engaging courses and practical workshops.

He said the programme had been designed to combine education with fun and creativity, enabling participants to discover new talents, build self-confidence and broaden their horizons through interactive sessions and experiential learning.

"Through these colourful activities and hands-on experiences, students can unlock their potential and strengthen their skills. We wish all participants a rewarding and enjoyable Summer Fiesta 2026," he remarked.
