Cardi B claims her ex threatened suicide and made death threats after their split
Cardi B says ex threatened suicide and her life after their split during candid X Spaces discussion

Cardi B has alleged that one of her former partners threatened to take his own life and made threats against her after their relationship ended.
The rapper made the claims during a recent conversation with fans on X Spaces, where she reflected on past relationships and public reactions to her personal life.

Although she did not identify the former partner by name, her comments have drawn attention following previous allegations involving her estranged husband, Offset.
"You see what happens when a b**chs really leaves," Cardi B said. "We all saw how he almost wanted to kill himself when I left. I didn't even wanna bring that situation up, because I don't even want to like fake act, like, I'm trying to come at a n***a or something."
She also questioned why former partners who had allegedly cheated on her did not remain with the people they were involved with, suggesting they instead reacted strongly after the relationship ended.
"Why they not with them? Why they don't be with them when I leave?" she said. "They getting brand new bitches. Why did they be crashing out over me? Since it's only because of my name. Since it's only because of my name, since it's only because I'm Cardi B. Then it's like why y'all damn near want to f**king kill yourself, and y'all seeing it in real time, everybody seeing it in real time."
The latest comments come as Cardi B and Offset continue divorce proceedings. Earlier this year, reports said a judge denied Offset's request for a paternity test involving the couple's child. Cardi B filed for divorce in 2024 and requested primary custody of their children.
