Woman dies in suspected overdose

A woman was found dead in a suspected overdose incident near Circular Road within the jurisdiction of Waris Khan Police Station, while her two young daughters were rescued in a semi-conscious condition, officials said on Saturday.
Police have launched an investigation into all aspects, including the woman's suicide.
According to Rescue 1122, the deceased woman, believed to be approximately 35 years of age, was pronounced dead at the scene. Her daughters, identified as 15-year-old Iman Fatima and eight-year-old Hamad Shehzadi, were found in a critical condition. Rescue personnel administered emergency medical assistance before shifting both girls to Benazir Bhutto General Hospital, where they remain under treatment.
Rescue teams promptly transported the woman's body and the two children to hospital, while officers from the Rawalpindi Police reached the scene and launched an investigation.
Police said inquiries are under way from multiple angles to establish the exact circumstances surrounding the incident.
