NCT member Jaehyun has addressed online dating rumours after holiday photographs featuring an unidentified woman prompted speculation across social media.

Jaehyun shared a series of photos and videos on June 26 showing him enjoying a holiday. The images captured the singer surfing, spending time by the sea and relaxing in swimwear during his break.

The rumours were soon addressed in the comments section of the post.

An SM Entertainment producer responded by explaining, "(Jaehyun) was in the middle of a crazy schedule with his cousin, and he likely posted this to build good memories and share a good heart. It's sad that Jaehyun is seeing these comments."

Jaehyun later personally clarified the situation by commenting, "My dearest cousin."

The exchange appeared to put an end to the speculation, with the singer directly confirming the woman's identity and dismissing assumptions about a romantic relationship.

Jaehyun recently returned from his mandatory military service. He enlisted at an Army training centre on November 4, 2024 and completed 18 months of service as a military musician before being discharged.
