A$AP Rocky has come under criticism on social media after a remark made during a recent concert sparked debate among fans about his relationship with Rihanna and his comments towards women in the audience.

The rapper made the statement while performing in Phoenix, Arizona, as part of his ongoing Don’t Be Dumb Tour.

During the show, Rocky addressed female fans in attendance and said, “Thank god y’all didn’t know me when I was single, ’cause I would have f**ked the sh*t out of you.”

A video of the moment quickly circulated online, generating a wave of reactions across social media platforms.

Some users argued that the comment was inappropriate and disrespectful, particularly given Rocky’s long-term relationship with Rihanna, with whom he shares three children.

One user wrote, “Disrespectful to Rihanna, disrespectful to women, someone remind me why this guy is still relevant.”

Another commented, “‘Praises’ and it’s just objectifying the women…not to mention the disrespect to Rihanna.”

A separate post read, “Why is my queen married to this d*ckhead?”

The discussion soon expanded beyond the concert itself, with many users debating whether the comment crossed a line or was simply intended as entertainment during a live performance.

Not everyone agreed with the criticism. Some fans defended the rapper, arguing that the remark was part of his stage persona and should not be interpreted literally.

Others pointed out that Rocky specifically referred to a time when he was single, suggesting that the comment acknowledged his current relationship status.

Rocky and Rihanna have been together since around 2019 and remain one of the music industry's most closely followed celebrity couples.
