China praises Pakistan's de-escalation efforts

ISLAMABAD:

Chinese Ambassador Jiang Zaidong on Monday conveyed Beijing's commendation to Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar for Pakistan's successful contribution to de-escalation and reaffirmed China's steadfast support for Pakistan's mediation role in promoting durable peace and stability in the region.

Dar received the Zaidong in the federal capital.

The DPM/FM shared updates on the high-level talks held in Bürgenstock, Switzerland, regarding the implementation of the Islamabad MoU.

Dar also recalled his recent visit to Cairo, where he had participated in the R-4 Regional Foreign Ministers' Meeting.
