PM to 'visit Saudi Arabia at later stage'

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is not planning an immediate visit to Saudi Arabia, sources said on Friday, contradicting earlier reports, and confirmed that the trip will be scheduled at a later stage as regional diplomatic activity continues to evolve.

Earlier, it was indicated that Shehbaz was expected to travel to Saudi Arabia within the next 48 hours for high-level talks on bilateral and regional issues. On Friday, he was also due to visit Switzerland, but the trip was called off following recent diplomatic developments related to the US-Iran understanding signed earlier this week.
