The 27-year-old featured in a promotional video with chef Yamamoto, where the pair created a unique corn-flavoured ice cream and hot sauce combination. However, fans quickly noticed similarities between Brooklyn’s advert and one of his father David Beckham’s previous campaigns.

Brooklyn’s latest social media post has also drawn attention because of the song choice. The advert featured Mark Knopfler’s “Sailing to Philadelphia”, a track about starting a new life in America, with some viewers interpreting the choice as another possible reference to his ongoing family tensions.

The advert comes shortly after Brooklyn appeared in a DoorDash campaign connected to the 2026 FIFA World Cup. In the commercial, he joked about watching the tournament from home and giving away his tickets, which many fans viewed as a subtle reference to his strained relationship with the Beckham family.
