PPPP, IPP agree on joint strategy for G-B political stability

The PPPP and IPP agreed have agreed that mutual cooperation and consultation are essential to meet public expectations, promote political stability, and ensure better governance.

The development took place as a meeting was held in Gilgit between the central and provincial leadership of the PPPP and the IPP.

The leaders of both the parties held detailed discussions on the prevailing political situation, public issues, the interests of Gilgit-Baltistan, and matters related to government formation in the region.

Various aspects related to government formation in G-B, the future political agenda, and matters concerning public welfare were also discussed in detail.

It was decided that all important political and administrative matters, including government formation in GB, will be taken forward through mutual consultation, consensus, and decisions agreed upon by the central leadership of both parties.

Both parties also reaffirmed their commitment to jointly contribute towards the development of the region, public service, and political stability.
