Lumpy Skin Disease cases rise in Sargodha

The reported increase in Lumpy Skin Disease (LSD) among cattle and buffaloes across several areas of District Sargodha has raised concern among livestock farmers and dairy farm owners, who fear further spread of the disease if timely preventive measures are not taken.
Cases of the disease have been reported in several areas, including 92 NB, Behak Mekan, 87 NB, 91 NB, 107 NB, 104 NB, Dera Jada, Kundan Shahpur, 66 NB, 40 NB and Mathalak. Livestock owners said the number of affected animals was increasing steadily and warned that the disease could spread to more areas without immediate intervention.
